Feed253 exists to help fill the gap for folks dealing with food insecurity
In 2009 we donated 25 turkeys & fixings to the Rescue Mission just in time for Thanksgiving.
Each year we've increased our Thanksgiving donations for local charities and food banks, including the YWCA Pierce County, St. Leo’s Food Connection, the Rescue Mission, House of Matthew, Mercy Housing, & Network Tacoma. In 2017, we became a 501c3 non-profit under the umbrella of Urban Grace Church. Our shared tax ID is 91-0577139.
Our Mission
Our mission is to help end hunger in the 253. Feed253 is a year-round operation, serving as part of the YWCA's meal program and providing supplies for direct aid meals for our houseless Hilltop neighbors 3 days/week since Feb. 2020.
We continue to work to fill the gap for local charities that serve our community every day.
